Poetry for Life
Poetry for Life (PFL). This idea is to join the skills and passion of the young poets of the Poetry Out Loud: National Recitation Contest, with elders at senior, assisted living and adult day care centers. last year 375,000 students participated in the Poetry Out Loud: National Recitation Contest. Our goal is to being 10% or about 40,000 students to create and perform poems with elders. This would change the scope of creative aging in America.
